With D.T. Brown Seeds’ enormously popular second cropping seed potatoes, summer’s delicious bounty can last just that little bit longer. Our fantastic selection of second croppers allows you to continue enjoying fresh, home-grown new potatoes well into the cooler months.

Second cropping seed potatoes are not special breeds or modifications on standard varieties. Rather, they are first or second early seed potatoes that have been cold-stored by our expert growers to prevent them from sprouting prematurely. Once removed from storage, they’ll quickly develop strong, healthy chits, ready for planting in summer for a delicious autumn harvest. Our second cropping seed potatoes will be dispatched from mid-July.
