Celeriac Seeds

Closely related to celery, Celeriac has a similar flavour to celery, as well as fennel and aniseed. You could roast or mash it, where it makes a great alternative to mashed potato, or use it in soups or stews.

Celeriac is relatively easy to grow, and grows well in heavy soils. It loves moisture, so keep the soil constantly damp, and it does well in poorer summers. While it will take some time to grow, ensure that the Celeriac plants are in a fertile bed with good drainage, free from weeds and watered regularly.
