Courgette Defender F1 AGM Veg Plants

Courgette Defender plants grow similarly to many other varieties of courgette. Plant your plants outdoors between May and June in a warm, sunny spot with plenty of fertiliser. Space plants 90cm (36in) apart and water regularly. Add a mulch for conserving moisture and garden netting to protect against pests.

If you prefer, it is possible to grow these plants in containers for growing spaces that are limited in size.

Harvest when fruits are around 10–12.5cm (4-5in), and pick regularly for a longer cropping period. Their flowers are also edible and can be stuffed or fried.

Courgette Defender can be prone to attacks from various pests, such as slugs, snails, and birds. Therefore, it’s best to protect your plants with garden netting and garden pest control products to deter or resolve the problem.
