Product Description
Bean and Pea Support Net (11x 2m)
Give vertical support to climbers. Reusable, rot proof and chemical resistant. Ideal for supporting peas, runner beans, sweet peas and other ornamental and edible climbers.
Net size: 11 x 2m/37ft x 6.5ft
Mesh Size 15 x 15cm/6 x 6in
Instructions
Unroll the bundle of net and open it out flat on the ground, staking the net in each corner with netting pegs. This will prevent the net from tangling and make it more manageable to use.
Erecting a ‘tennis’ frame (Peas, Beans, Sweet Peas)
Sink two strong stakes into the soil leaving about 2 metres (6’6”) above the ground. Secure a length of heavy duty wire between the tops of the stakes and if required tie the frame down with guy ropes. Attach the net to the wire and the stakes with garden twine. Peg into the ground with netting pegs.
Erecting a ‘grid’ SUPPORT frame (Dahlias, Chrysanthemums)
Sink four strong stakes into the soil leaving about 50cm (20”) above the ground. Run a length of light duty wire between the tops of the stakes and secure with netting staples. Attach the net to the wire with garden twine. At the end of the season the plants should be allowed to die back so the tendrils and dead foliage can be easily removed. The net should be detached from the frame and rolled up before storing away.
