Product Description
This purple leaved basil makes an attractive feature in patio containers or mixed into flower borders, but it’s not just ornamental – It has the full basil fragrance and flavour.
Basil Plants This popular herb is an essential ingredient in many Italian dishes with strongly flavoured leaves that can be used to perk up tomato dishes, blitzed to make pesto sauce and added to pizzas, pasta and salads. Outdoors, basil needs protection from wind and frost. However, in autumn, when temperatures start to dip, bring a few plants back indoors to provide a fresh supply of leaves in winter. Supplied in 9cm pots.
