Second cropping seed potatoes are not special breeds or modifications on standard varieties. Rather, they are first or second early seed potatoes that have been cold-stored by our expert growers to prevent them from sprouting prematurely. Once removed from storage, they’ll quickly develop strong, healthy chits, ready for planting in summer for a delicious autumn harvest. Our second cropping seed potatoes will be dispatched from mid-July.
